P E R F O R M A N C E

I spent my entire childhood playing little boys and ambiguously-gendered comedic relief characters, so naturally, I grew up with a very whimsical and boundaryless idea of what theatre could be. Outside of my school’s theatre program, I trained at the Paper Mill Playhouse New Voices Conservatory for all four years of high school, where I really zeroed in on my creative aspirations on and off the stage. Ultimately, my journey led to writing and performing in new works.

At Berklee, I spent the last four years as a student employee for the Musical Theatre Writing Program where I sight-read original student work and performed them in front of the musical theatre writing classes. Being on both sides of the table as a writer and performer in some of the MT writing classes, I learned the kind of performer I wanted to be from working with a cast of incredible student employees that helped define the work I wrote. There, I learned to make decisive (and often unhinged) choices in order to help writers flesh out their growing characters.

I also have extensive experience swinging into productions last-minute all throughout high school and college, which taught me to think on my feet and condense my creative process into a shorter amount of time.
